According to LRA they are our closest "dealer" and all associated work can and need be done there. Initially I got a straight "yes" when I asked, but since I've been booking my service early November I've been getting the "We'll get back to you". Allmine (Karratha) did some warranty work on behalf of LRA for one of the chaps here recently and I'm working hard to establish if LRA will allow them to do servicing as well.

Regardless, I'll rather visit Broome (837km for me, 1008km for you) than Perth (1544km for me, 1470km for you) asuming you are in Tom Price itself!
Leetes at Newman service quite a few LR's and they are doing mine at 5K,the bloke who owns it has owned LR's for 30 years and talking to him last week I was impressed with his attitude,Barbagallo's use him as a service agent. Pat

Cheers for that Pat! Newman is a lot closer for a service only visit, especially if I can do it on a busness trip and have the diesel paid!

If not, I sit with the difficult choice... Broome or Newman...

Jokes aside, it is always good to know about skillful people around the region. I've since been advised to let Allmine keep to dozers and loaders...

I've never had trouble in Newman or Kalgoorlie getting work done, personally I wouldn't use a mechanic that scratched his head over servicing a vehicle. If you come to Newman I'll give you my house keys,I expect the washing up done buy the time I get home thou. Pat

I noticed my front steering damper hanging by one end at about 3,000km. Took it straight to the dealer. LR suspected it was ARB but could not prove anything and replaced all the missing bits for me with very little hassle.

LR said there is no warranty on missing parts, so I have to pay for the 2 rubber bushes, the bolt and nut - all about $25.00. Can you believe this aint covered under warranty??

Yep good advice to tighten everything up, cause if it falls off it aint covered!
