Before you do anything or change anything check how tight your throttle cable is, for some reason Tdi's seem to loosen themselves and nearly every Tdi i have seen(even some which have just had "performance work" done) has had a loose cable. Tighten it till you take up the slack to the arm and you will notice a big difference in power and responsiveness, also give your stock intercooler a good clean, you may be happy with how your stock engine goes without having modify if you are only after a little bit more. I ask everyone who leaves the shop to honk there horn if they notice a good difference as soon as they take off and so far have 100% sucess rate with throttle cables, simple but overlooked.
