    County radio special depth?

I have a 1986 Isuzu County and when purchased did not have a radio in it.

I just bought one on special from A'bum but when trying to fit it today there does not seem to be enough depth for it at 170mm deep. There is stacks of wiring in behind there and it isn't possible to move it up or down out of the way. It needs to be a maximum of about 120mm deep

Is there a radio available at that size?

I had the same problem, and gave up. CDs are a certain size, and the CD player radios won't home smaller (that I could find). I went for a raptor dash that will give me more room.. but now I'm thinking of just having a tablet and using that.

Note an older cassette radio may be smaller and fit.

Fusion to an iPod only version.
Much shallower and should fit fine

I had to make a spacer to go between the dashboard and the radio face plate.

    Thanks Guys

It doesn't need to be a CD player , just AM/FM and an iPod input and/or Bluetooth

Tombie , not sure what you mean

Fusion car audio do iPod only head units with tuner.

Consider the marine versions! Dust/water resistance is better.

you wont fit a CD player but a media player is a lot shallower in depth and can be bought for as little as $70. Another option a mate has is an MDF extending sleeve around the hole, it doesn't work for me as my leg hits when changing gear. I got one a couple of years ago with an SD card input, another option is just run the Ipod straight into an amplifier.

When the Samsung galaxy 7.7 is available in au, I'm going to use one of them.

Music, mapping, GPS etc built in. Also Ozi explorer runs on them.

I had an ipod into an amp for a while but its impossible to change tracks while moving which is very limiting.
