    help

I hope some one can help me.

I have a new ecu and cant get it to work. I have programed the injector codes and it wouldn't start but I played some more and the engine started and I had throttle response. I turned the engine off and packed some tools away, then came back to the car and started it but this time the throttle wouldn't work and the engine fault light wouldn't go out. Looking in the fault mode it has throttle problems.

When I take the new ecu out and refit the old one it all works fine.

    Any idea's

If it is a Puma? you will need to do pump learn as well as pilot correction learn. Also you will have to do DDS learn to sync the 10AS with the new ECU so that the passive immobilizer/immobilizer signal will be accepted by the EMS.

    As Justin says, throttle type.

it seems easiest to me to copy the settings from the original ecu, then paste them onto the new one with the nanocom. This will take all teh settings in 1 go, as opposed to needing to change them all.
