    PTO mount?

    ok,

I've had a compressor sitting on my shelf for months because I've been meaning to do this.. Now I'm interested in the PTO mount. I'd be capable of fabricating my own mount for the air compressor onto the LT230 but how would one get drive out of the LT230 and to the compressor?

a very good choice with the TDI series of engine, its quite easy to do. Its achievable with the td5 but it requires more work and a lot more thought in the plumbing.

IMHO if your not brilliant at fabrication and you own a td5 defender with aircon you want to keepthen you really want to be looking at a PTO drive unit.
if you can do without the td5 AC you just put a converted TD5 AC compressor in and belt it up as per normal.
