    Water tank

    Hi Guys,
Has ant one fitted a water tank to their Puma?
I want to fit one so that I don’t have to carry 20ltr drums in the back for showers while out in the bush.
Was thinking mounting one of those heavy duty plastic ones under the car but would be handy to see if anyone has done something similar or where they have mounted there's.
    Photos would be great.

    Cheers

    Dan

Have you considered this option: LR Def 2.4 32Lt Water Tank - Dolium Pty Ltd. Several on the forum have one installed, usually in accompaniment with a matching auxiliary fuel tank on the other side.

hey Dan... i found a great spot in between 2nd row seats and my cargo barrier.. not sure about your setup..

its a 48ltr Boab tank ex Daniel at Mulgo and its fits perfectly between wheel arches.. easy to fill through side window and drains out to a hose with tap under rear seats .. gravity does the rest...

i didn`t like the idea of having a plastic water tank under rear panel , sitting right above the exhaust, and warm water in summer..

    cheers

    Hi Andre,
I like your idea as well, which draw system have you used? It looks well finished.

I've been thinking about the same - do the rear seats lock all the way back? Without test fitting one I wasn't sure ir would fit. I have a similar arrangement - 110 Puma wagon with Milford barrier.

Also, can you tell me the Boab code - is it WTP48V?

    Regards

HI Dave.... yep, WTP48V is the correct code for the boab tank...

the rear seats do lock in .. no worries , but it depends a bit on how close your cargo barrier is... but thats easy adjusted..

@ Steve : the drawer system is a " Drifta" ..they built it to my specs and measurements and made it within a couple of weeks... very happy with it.
    and easy to install
