Considering how much force you needed to get the engine to mate to the gearbox, you have probably destroyed the clutch centre. You will need similar force to separate the two. If depressing the clutch fork doesn't do the job you will need to attatch two brackets to the bellhousing somehow so you can jack the gearbox back off the engine. Or use a 50mm holesaw under the bellhousing to provide access to the clutch pressure plate bolts and undo the pressure plate so the clutch comes off with the gearbox.
