Was at M.R. Automotive at Redcliffe today and there were more Defenders than you could poke a stick at. Many kitted out for serious travel by the look. Only saw one owner unfortunately, and he was on his phone.
I'm glad this thread is called "wheres the defender wave gone", Maybe call it "only defenders wave"? Only one wave in three weeks from a disco, defenders wave like they are having a party and want you there. I think the discos and rangies that I pass are owners because, what they drive looks like money! Can't get a wave from they though!
I always wave from my d2 even if in passengers seat. My partner doesn't understand haha. I love it when i get waves from other discos but defenders absolutely makes my day :)

Good wave from an orange shorty pulling out of Mt Mee. Bunch of others including a 6 wheeler on the Bruce. Had to get off the bruce due to psychotic caravan drivers

I was out in the Perentie yesterday. Got a wave from the Freelander driver. Not so from the D4 driver.
Not only did I get a little wave and a smile, but a 'hello' as she walked from her White shorty to the cashier at the servo! :D
