Thread: Where's the Defender wave gone?

Gosh ive not waved at a new defender yet! Too much in awe when I see them wishing I could have one but knowing never in my life time.

I hope if anyone waves at my disco, I do wave back or wave at any landie I see but driving with hand controls it's not always obvious

Either that or the ones with half ping pong balls instead of Propeller blades.

Waved at a few Defenders today.

No response!

I was on the motorbike though, so they were probably just confused.

One was particularly interesting one - a 110 ute with soft-top.

Copped a friendly beep beep from a Black 90 in Walker St North Sydney this evening. Joy.

On the New Defender topic,a guy with one was in front of us the other day on the ferry going over to Fraser.
He was on his second one,the first one,a P400,the wife smashed up and it was written off.
This time he bought the small diesel
He said he wanted something less powerfull.

As for waves,these days,i only get then from 76,79,and 200's

Unless of course i am in the S1,then i get all sorts of wierd looks and waves from all sorts of people in all sorts of LR's.
