Received a wave from a young bloke, red P plater in a Hilux!
But I was in the RFSV, waving at it makes you cool
He got a belated and bemused wave back.

I even wave at Landy's when driving the D3, but don't always get a response.
I got a wave from a defender the first day I was out driving my new L322, so I am still in the family:D
Had 2 good waves in past week. A 110 merged into my lane from a turn off and seeing us let traffic pass so we could catch up and swap waves. Today was on the 2 lane motorway cruising at 120kmh and came up to an older 110 so exchanged waves as went pass and dropped speed and jumped into his lane so we were ina very modest convoy of 2 Landys.
I have to admit that whilst engaged in city driving I have on several occasions failed to spot on coming Defenders until it is too late to engage in a friendly wave. Luckily my wife frequently spots them from the passenger seat and waves like a crazed banshee to make up for my lack of observation... I would think with the volume of traffic in cities this may well be the cause of wave failure as opposed to poor Defender etiquette...
Defecon 110
Excellent first post...and welcome.
Consider this a wave :D
Well, there's a bloke who appears to live in Engadine (South of Sydney) who drives a 130 ute as a tradie work car who refuses to wave and now that I think of it, I think I'll put a note on his window suggesting he join the waving fraternity or move to the dark side and drive some jap crap.
Have a little wave gripe.:(
Now this has happened twice, this mettalic grey 130 with Hannibal full length rack does not wave.
Gripe over:D
On a better note i received 3 from three on Friday & one from a D2:D:D

Unless it's a modified Disco and even then almost no chance of a wave from a Disco here (my experience so far) .
