Thread: Where's the Defender wave gone?

I think you might just freak them out a bit, or they are so shocked they don't wave back in time!

We were out this morning for a Team W4 picnic on the beach and with 18 Land Rovers in a loose convoy heading north out of Perth a guy in the Series 2A got more than he bargained in terms of waving. He waved at the first one and had to wrestle his car with one hand while he continued to wave at the next 17 cars to pass him! :-)

Got some sporadic waving from older Discos and a Defender or two as well.

I always wave, never to disco drivers, but recently I've noticed the wave has not been reciprocated. My boys put it down to newby yuppies who will never get their tyres dirty.

Maybe they're right.

I'll keep annoying them with a wave.

I wave to all green ovals, but with significantly more vigour and effort to Defenders. Personally, I don't give a rat's if they wave back… but heaps do anyway

Confused a defa driver on the New England. Herself reminded me I was in her impreza

I wave at Defenders whether I am in the Deefa, Mazda or on the Suzuki !

Yep get some strange looks when I wave at Defenders whilst riding my bicycle

Got a big wave from a bloke in a nice Deefer when using my Defender to tow the camper out to Kenilworth the other day, so waved back. Seem to be lots of Defenders and Discos in the Maleny area.
