    Welcome

    Hi Andrew

    Welcome aboard to the forum

Your question about the fitting out of the back of the Land rovers, has sure sparked a lot of interest, thanks for that.

I'm in the same boat. Have fitted the cargo barrier in the Puma 110 and now I need to give some thought to the rear set-up.

Please keep the pictures coming guys...and any details regarding the products you have and who makes them e.g. shelves, drawers.

While I'm tempted to make the drawer and fridge slider myself, I'd want to get the right sliders and fittings. Are these things easily available (haven't done any research yet so do forgive me for asking now).

    Hey Bobby,

    E-bay is your friend.

Heap of stuff on there, fridge slides, drawer slides, LED lighting.

The LED's in my post cost $3 for each 50cm length and $4 postage from Honkers.

    Cheers

I used these drawer slides for mine

    slides

I have to be honest the seller of the slides is my sister but that dosent make them bad

They lock closed open and at the halfway point and are rated up to 125kg
As an added treat the defender in the pic is mine.

My sisters husband is a cabinet maker so he made my drawers and is looking to start making them more so if you ask nicely they will make whatever you like.

OK Andrew, here are a few more ideas for you to ponder.
There is about 480L of storage in the two drawers and window boxes, plus room for the fridge and a spot for 4 storage creates with another 280L capacity where the rear seats usually are. There is also room underneath the false food for 3 more tubs in the footwell, plus chairs, table etc
The lighting is a 5050 LED strip on an RBG backing connected to a 4 way 3 pole rotary switch to function as a dimmer - very bright!
Lots more photos here - My Landy

Would love to see some more pics of other setups! I'm currently working on setting up my Defender for a trip around Australia. Got the back end and rear seats removed, and am considering having it so I can sleep in the back. Anyone have such a setup they can post pics of??
    Thanks

I have removed the rear seats as well and just built a frame that takes four sliding tubs (cheap as chips) for all the food etc. That all sits on two larger tubs that contains all the cooking stuff. Has to all come out easy after each trip so the dogs can ride in the back.

I did hear from a cop at a recent club meeting that you can get done in Queensland for removing the rear seats from a vehicle that was made with them in. Not sure if that was all vehicles or vehicles registered in SA and travelling through. They would have to have stopped you for something else i guess or they wouldn't bother.

Just finished fitting Drifta drawers in the back of my 110. Custom made to my dimensions to fit behind the cargo barrier - very happy with it.

    Cheers
