Before I left Brisbane, I came across this defender with chequer plating along the entire side panels. Ive been searching everywhere, but can only find the lower sill chequer plate. Is this a custom job?

I'm not a fan of chequer plate either - it doesn't man the car up - It makes it look more camp than a row of tents
Personally only like the wingtop plates myself. Functional enough to kneel on when the bonnet is removed and to avoid the "bling factor" I always buy them in black powder coat...
