The Landie I now have, has rivnuts & stainless steel threaded screws throughout, including the door trims . I have removed them a few times now, a power screwdriver & they are off. Overkill I admit, but it encouraged me to invest in a Rivnut tool & it's found a number of uses so far. It would be the best way to attach home made trims.

Mmm the price of the rivnut tool I too would use it for everything I could if I bought one.
