Unless you want 6 different vehicles to meet easy of those above criteria perfectly, then the 130 was the only choice for me. It's my daily driver, my kid commuter, my wood and soil carrier, AND it's excellent off road, particularly now it has Detroit lockers both ends. (thank you Aussie dollar and lucky 8)
    Have fun with it mate.
    Detroit lockers both ends. ???

I'm only a novice here but I was under the impression that an auto locker in the front diff of a full time 4wd was not a good idea. However I am here to learn so.....

Front is 'soft locker', as recommended by dealers for the front on FT 4x4s. Been running them for 14 months now and loving them
PS, came in at about $1300 for the pair, fitted. Bargain

Maybe you mean you have a TruTrac torque biasing diff in the front ?

The No Spin I'm assuming you have in the rear is a 'soft' locker compared to the old style Detroit's/No Spin's.

HI J.D. I live on the other side of Dungog from you. You may already be aware that Modern Motors in Dungog is an experienced Land Rover garage. They would be a good place to contact if you need mechanical advice or inspections.. Feel free to PM me if you would like to talk about the Land Rover experience. I drive a TD5 130 single cab from 2000. Cheers, 130man.

Modern Motors Dungog also generously provided vouchers to be given as prizes at last year's AULRO 10th Anniversary NSW gathering.
