I deleted them both as they were adverts and not in the marketplace nor in the format as the forum requires.

You specifically asked if anyone had parts they wanted to sell. That constitutes an advert.

In the second thread I did not ask to buy anything. You deleted it because you enjoy the power being a moderator gives you. Just like you deleted my earlier joke.

Thanks for making it much harder for me to get help, you're really doing a great job keeping the spirit of this forum alive.

Have fun at your job tomorrow, punching puppies in the face.

I'm confused.. if we are allowed to ask if anyone has any parts for sale in another part of the forum why can't it be asked here?

And out of curiosity because your post confused me.. I did a search of the meaning of the word advertisement and apparently asking to buy something is not an advertisement...

    Just saying..

    ad·ver·tise·ment   [ad-ver-tahyz-muhnt, ad-vur-tis-muhnt, -tiz-] Show IPA
    noun
    1.
a paid announcement, as of goods for sale, in newspapers or magazines, on radio or television, etc.
    2.
a public notice, especially in print.
    3.
the action of making generally known; a calling to the attention of the public: The news of this event will receive wide advertisement.

The forum owner has set the rules on how he wants the forum to be run and where adverts are to be placed.

By your reckoning, Sue, there is no such thing as a wanted ad.
