Thats where you're wrong, it IS a Gaylander (or at least the spiritual successor to the original)
It still looks like a Gaylander !![]()

"GAYLANDER", I thought we were on this forum because we have a common interest, not to bag people out because they have a different sexual preference to your own.
I am not Gay but I am sure there are people who participate in this forum that may well be, and they could well be offended by such tiny minded comments.
Lets keep it about Defenders and include everyone.
Diana & Col. Coleman,
you forgot the S111 stage 1 and
the green motion would be a lot more desirable than a brown motion,
but the performance of the disc/drum combination on my 110, makes me want to change it's name from defender to rear-ender - but that may attract the wrong sort of interest.
LAND ROVER;HELPING PUT OIL BACK IN THE GROUND FOR 70 YEARSCARS DON'T GET ANY "GREENER" THAT.
Aww c'mon, are you kidding !!! No need to be so precious, nothing to do with political correctness but, Gay's & Lesbians are 'out there' , want and almost have equal rights , not hiding in the closet and I can tell you they have a lot thicker skin than you or me. So Im going to say right here and now that the RR Evoque, and the FL are as Gay as the DC100 so I don't have an issue with the name Gaylander . Its nothing to be ashamed and no need to tread on eggshells !!
What about .... "Tardis"?![]()
I give you the Land Rover Flaccid. Too soft to tackle the Cape or Simpson, but plenty tough enough to cope with shopping centre car park speed humps (just). This car has inspired me to keep my TD5 defender forever. I'm serious. I would buy a new Defender if they produced something worth buying. They lost me when they dropped the engine size to 2.2L. As they say, there's no replacement for displacement!
