    It varies.
Bendix is what I usually use easy to get from Repco, They did not have them in stock when when I went in but their network in metro area had them in by late arvo.
Lockheed make the genuine LR ones, but can be a bit harder to get.
There are other brands such as DBA etc
    Some other UK brands.
Be aware some of the cheaper brands are too hard and do not bed in well and squeal like a Banshee, which will end up requiring disc machining.

Bendix DB1306/4WD should be the ones you need.

    Thanks Craig and Mark.

I wanted to stick with Original spec or a good 2nd choice.

I have had a look around now and will either go Lockheed (Delphi) or possibly Bendix as I think there a not bad make and the fact you can get them through Repco instead of Land Rover is good as well.

    Thanks for your help,

    Col

Mintex was the brand I was trying to think of. Never again, yes they are cheap but are way to hard and squeal like a Banshee. Had them on 5k, pulled them out and replaced with Bendix, some very minor squeal still at times, but 150% better than the Mintex. Consider machining your discs while you are doing it.

Interesting, someone else (Damian ?) posted only a few weeks back that Mintex were the best pads he'd ever used.

    Squealing happens.

Some compounds are worse than others, and it's usually a dust induced thing (which is great when you drive a lot of dirt)

I've used Ferodo 4WD for years on the 130 as they bite pretty well with a little warmth, are fairly fade resistant (yes, I've deliberately caned them to induce proper fade, and they recover well from it) and are kind to discs, but geez, do they squeal when dusty

The Bendix 4WD pads we use on the Patrol probably don't bite quite the same and wear the discs a little more irregularly but don't squeal at all.
