Yes, it's bolted to the rear cross member using all original holes.

I just had a quick look at the back of my 2A. The bar wouldn't bolt straight on, but by drilling some other holes to match the series chassis it could probably be adapted to fit. There might be some other issues, like the tail gate hinges for example, they would have to have a section cut out of the bar. It might be possible to make an adapter plate to allow the bar to be easily fitted to a Series Landy, but I'd have to look into the details.

    Cheers, Murray

That plate for the lights, is it ok to restrict the angle that the lights are visible from? I'd check the ADRs re lighting.

ADR's are 45 degree viewing angle. The lights are almost flush with the outer edge of the rim so they are within the guidelines. Also, the indicator has to be a maximum of 150mm from the outer edge of the body, so no problem.

Can someone with a Puma 110 please stick your head under the rear wheel arch and tell me if you have the bracket and vertical tube at the end of your chassis like in this picture, or is this something only found on the 90 (the pic is of a 90)

I just need to know whether I have to redesign my mounting bracket which fits in the back of the chassis.

    Cheers, Murray

    Hi Murry ,
My 2009 110 has these brackets. I also have the third row seats so it may have something to do with them.
    Cheers

    Thanks Darren,
Lucky I haven't sent the drawings to the laser cutter yet, gives me a chance to make some minor changes. I have a customer's Puma 90 sitting in the drive, so I'll be able to measure directly off that.

The reason for the height of the bar at the ends is to allow sufficient length of the stub axle to be supported and welded inside the bar.

I definitely like LED's. The lights in the prototype are standard Defender lights, but I've fitted LED globes to them. I personally like the look of the original lights integrated into the bar, but the light panels are separate to the main body of the bar so they can be customised to whatever lights will fit in the available space.

Dual wheels or wheels and jerry's will both be both options. With dual wheels the number plate will most likely have to be mounted on a bracket in the middle of the wheel.

The fold up step does contact the bar and I will most likely remove the step unless I can find a solution to retain it.

    Cheers, Murray

This is the light panel which could be supplied as a blank flat panel to fit different lights.....

    Hey Murray

yeah I meant from the back just the wave look to the end as it steps down...however now you have explained to encompass the stub axle now I understand why you have done it.

having a blank panel is a good idea I reckon.....my worry with the original lights is there not really that water tight.. I wonder how the round LED lights would look rather than the strips.

I want to use lights like this, but they all seem to be 100mm. I feel they would look a bit big, but maybe I'll get one set and try them.

Yeah your right they are all over the 100mm size was just looking.

what about the BL-214 series lights from this site, they are small, but obviously not round good site this one I have bought strip LEDs to possibly put on the back of the series tray.
