It should hold its value better than a Scout
What about the D1/D2 ? I reckon they are the ugliest 4x4 ever, Way more so than any RR or D3/4 (I'm ducking too)Either way it is Fugly (but so are D3s/D4s and all rangies ever made - ducking for cover)

Both engines are, as you say Ford/Peugot engines, and are fitted to a wide variety of cars. The engine deal would have been part of the sales agreement, beneficial to both companies - Ford can continue to sell more engines, Tata does not have to immediately find/design/build replacements. Sharing of engines is widespread throughout the industry today, a very different situation compared to fifty, or even thirty, years ago.

If the choice was a DC100 or the Dezyn design I'd buy one.
so long as it had Live axles.
and then there is this, a few subtle changes like flat sides and curved guard tops instead of angled , a SVX front and the Bronco suddenly looks like a LandRover. (I like that Ford even uses vents under the windscreen )
2015 Defender ??
2012 Bronco

		Gotta agree.
I really like the look of these two cars.
Realistically LR has to move on with the exsisting design if the Deefer is to survive commercially. Don't get me wrong, I love the current design, but whatever replaces it has to have live axles or I ain't interested.
We can leave the IFS for the rangies and disco.
Just leave the deefers alone.
