yeah i have longer rails on the seats too and it is an instant child safety lock for rear seat passengers as the seat now covers the door release handles so once in the back no-one can get out unless let out!! n.b my seats are a bit bigger too so might make a difference

A lot has been said of elbow room and the intrusion of the hand brake. I am 185cm and 100 and some undisclosed kgs. I really have never noticed lack of elbow/shoulder room or leg room. I suppose you do just get used to it.

The only thing that actually bugs me is the window winder which digs into my knee when the knob end is down, which is when the window is fully open; which it never is; because the knob end digs into my knee.

I'm 5'11" and I don't have any problems at all now. The first week or so was a bit of a pain, but then I was fighting more with the 6 speed box.
Now,, I wouldn't want to drive anything else

All you guys with the window winder problem - its so simple to fix you will be kicking yourself. Remove the clip holding the handle on with a flat head screwdriver/pliers, rotate the handle through 180 degrees, put it back on and replace the clip. jobs a goodun.

Thanks, but then when the window is up the knob is down and will dig into my knee. Should probably try a 90 degree move but its only about a 50mm move to clear it, barely lifts the window really.

Saw these on a recent thread, and thought they looked good. Pretty cheap at about $10 each: MUDSTUFF.CO.UK, Defender Flexible Grab Handle

I've only had my 110 for 4 days now (loving it) and have already worked out a solution to your issue - buy a MY12 110 - it has ELECTRIC WINDOWS with switches on the dash!!! Perfect.

When I find a cable to plug the camera into the computer I will post some pics.

i moved both my seats 50mm inboard, and put the disco park brake next to the seat. have to make a narrower centre console but it is a nice mod.

Cheers for the opinions, the 110 I sat in certainly wasn't uncomfortable, in fact it was lot more comfortable than I thought it would be. Just the elbow room annoyed me. And leg room in the back for an adult.

Justinc, I wouldn't mind seeing a picture of the 50mm mod you made. That could be something to look at.

Zwitter, I'm checking out the health fund to see if your ideas can be done.

Looks like Id better tee up a test drive and see how it feels on the road.

    Cheers
