    Side Rails/Brush Bar ???

    Hello all,

I have searched here and around the web, but not much luck. I am looking to add the side rails/ brush bars to my TD5 110. Currently, I have LR Bullbar and LR side steps/guards on her now, jst wanted to complete the protection around the front. Recommendations?
I know TJM makes a set, but is there someone else as well? Daniel (Mulgo), do you do this? This could be simple enough job for someone with equipment, should i find a fabricator around Sydney (where I live). Any recco's for fabricators?

    Cheers,

Have a look at Mulgo site - Side Rails - Mulgo Pty Ltd - Australia

I've been looking at these for a while for my 130, come in a variety of options with tree bars/checkerplate and very reasonable prices for how good they look. I emailed Daniel a while back with some questions and he was right on it with replying unlike some places

Bought a set for my Puma 110, just waiting on the truck. Cannot speak highly enough about the service and assistance from Mulgo Pty Ltd. Will post pictures over the next few days when they arrive.

I think that the OP was chasing brush bars as well (very sensible I would say)
I cant see any brush bars on that website?
But they are not that difficult to fabricate

If I can knock these up in a day or so
    http://www.aulro.com/afvb/projects-t...arvo-shed.html

then a fabricator could either add to the above vendors side rails or start fro scratch?

The TJM brush bars attach to their side step which sits half a mile below the sill level

If you want to keep the high sill - then you will need to go custo as far as I am aware?

    Hi,

Yes, brush bars can be done. Just need your car to take the necessary measurements to make a template.

    Cheers,
    Daniel

I would like to get some rock/tree sliders too for my defender. I have a single cab td5, would anyone have a pic of where they usually mount up to? I'm Metal fabricator so I'll sure make mine up.

You've got the option of sills, or straight to chassis.

Personally i prefer to weld plates to chassis then bolt to them, but everything i make is SOLID haha, just need to have some clearance for the body when the mounts flex etc.
