Yes, letters come from Land Rover themselves so you should have received a letter by now if they have your details.

    Are you the original owner?
    Have you changed address recently?

I will be happier if they post me the bolts, if it is a 30 minute job. 3 hour round trip to my closet dealer.

Haven't received a letter yet, but Australia post have lost our mail a lot.

I rang LandRover Australia and although my 110 is in the VIN number range on the ACCC website it isn't affected by this recall, so don't necessarily expect to receive a letter.

    Cheers

Has anyone got any detailed info on this and what they actually do? the dealership has asked me to completely remove the rear speakers and sub i have installed in my car so they can acess the bolts, as far as i have read it was on the bolts on the seatbelt mounts that need replacing, if this is the case i only need to remove the 2 small speaker sections at the side which are wedged in not glued/screwed like the sub panel section. I asked the dealer to supply the bolts to me and i would swap them myself but they wont do it.

My letter took ages to get to me because they sent it to some company, the director of which had originally ordered my Little Landy but then cancelled the order when his finance fell through. That was how I came to be able to buy a D90 for the sale price so long after the sale had finished. S when he felt like it the letter was returned to sender and when the dealer felt like it the letter was readdressed to me.

I took mine in to get done before I installed my sill tanks because I'd been warned that the sill tanks would have to be removed to get access to the seat belt mount bolts.

I'm not sure exactly what they do but they finally did mine last week and it took three and a half hours! (after telling me it would take 1/2 hr - 1hr max).. Apparently they had to remove the side steps to access the bolts.. they said something about having to replace the bolts at the top and bottom.. I didn't care I just wanted out of there..

They told me it would be an hour so I went for a walk and had a luke warm Capacino (sp? ... and YUK!) at the McCafe down the street. I got bored so went back at the 3/4 hour mark and it was done. Outta there! Those side steps must be a PITA to remove I guess.
