Had the recall work completed on Saturday during my Defender 90 10000service.
Can anyone post a recall letter with name blanket out so I can plce in the recall section better till post the recall notice.
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
Got my letter today Getting it done on Monday.
Have to put the seats back in over the weekend.

Can you explain why you have to put the seats back in? The recall is for the front seat belts only isn't it? What has that got to do with the seats? I have the rear seats out of my D90 and won't be amused if I have to refit them. It might be enough to make me complain about the fact that the factory had cross threaded one of the rear seat mount bracket bolts and they might find themselves fixing that while they're at it!
There's a 'version 2' of the recall just out & the rear seat belts are now included.

Got my letter last night, can't say if it said front or rear or both. They can deal with it when it goes in for it's next service.
It shouldn't matter if your seats are in or out, just so long as they can do the seatbelt bolts, (although one would think they'd want the belts in there).

Do any of you have a sill tank under the drivers side? if you do it is in the way of the bolts they have to change as I found out.
I filled it up with fuel on the way to get it done on Monday as fuel was cheap, they had to lower the tank to get the bolts in it took about 1.5 hrs to do.
