    rivnuts and side steps

    Hi All,

I'm currently looking at the options for putting on some side steps onto my new 130, does anyone know where I can obtain the rivnuts that are designed to fit into the hexagonal precut holes in the TD4 chassis?

Have never seen a Rivnut or Nutsert in anything other than round!

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

are you making your owe or are they off the shelf.....if they are off the shelf pretty sure you wont need to do anything special as they bolt to the outriggers

if you are making your own consider removing the trim under the doors and bolting directly to the ends of the out riggers, mine have budged at all even when supporting the weight of the defender

You can get them but they aren't the collapsable types, they have a knurled outer for pressing into plastics.
