    Defender rims

    Does any one know where i can get boost alloy rims from. i am building a trailer and i want the rims to match my car. iv talked to rover craft they want 400 a rim or i can get them from the uk for about 800 for 4. i don't really want to spend heaps on my trailer. im in perth why are they so hard to find they are standard on discoveries and defenders

    I had to buy a hole set....but I was lucky I got them for 300bux from a member with reasonable tyres.
    Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

    Just buy two from the UK and save yourself the pain and cash. Most of the guys who advertise in the Landie mags will be able to supply.

    I've had very good dealings with M&M from Worcestershire and Devon 4x4 with very reasonable shipping rates.

    Second hand in Perth will be a bit of a struggle and Aussie postage on their weight will kill a bargain from over east.

    Just checked e-bay and you can get 4 for around $600 on "buy now"

    Have you tried putting a want ad on gumtree. and keep an eye on gumtree there are often LR alloys for sale cheap in perth

    Try Triumph Rover Spares in Adelaide. I got one from them.

    Yea iv been looking, Triumph Rover Spares want 1450 for 4 and that's 2nd hand these people are dreaming. i think i will end up settling on a different rim or getting them from over seas. Has anyone got some descent rims they might want to get rid of they need to be land rover cause iv already bought the hubs so they need to be the same stub pattern.

    they were asking 150 a rim at one place but I didn't think they'd suit the series

    $1,450 for 4!!!! If you've got 4 and can get that sort of money, you may as well sell them and buy 6 Zu rims.

    guys it is one thing to point the guy in the direction of some rims but you should all know offering items for sale in the main forum is a no no...

    you must advertise them in the markets or PM the guy with what you have....

    Man i got screwed in the butt. Just tried to put my alloys on my trailer and the wheel studs are different thread so i took them back and they recon its my problem that i have to supply the right thread. After i payed them money for something i didnt get. But anyway they probably did me the favor cause im having so much trouble finding alloys im now just going to go with steelies i will save a heap of coin.
