The kids named mine "The Tardis" because it's so big on the inside. My 2a is "Ralph" (I wanted Montague P Farnsworth or Monty) but I was voted down. The series 3 was Smeg (out of Red Dwarf). The Discovery was Red and the RR Classic was too rude for this forum.
My first defender was called "larry"
as in larry the landrover
current one is BEAR
he is a white 110 wagon, and came from BUNDABERG landrover,
so he is named after something big and white that came from BUNDABERG.
:D
Mines Bobbie.
Named after a Blue Healer I had. She was just awesome too ;)
I thought all Defenders have to have names? It's a legal requirement, like the wave.
Our 90 is called "George" and we're hoping to get ourselves a Perentie at some point which will be "Mildred"...
threads merged
My 1975 series three was called "The Angel of Murphy" but after a fair few catastrophic breakdowns the name was changed to simply "The Angel" but she still kept up her old habits.
My current Defender was called "Wolf" as her old registration was WLF916GP, she is currently nameless.
Boubous but she died
Mum and I both call the County "The County". Everyone else calls it "The Dray" which I don't think is fair. It has never been towed by a draft horse :)
Dad's Puma 90 is generally referred to as "The Cube".
My Keswick 90 is better known as The Goose's Turd.
