Did you consider ZU's. I'd imagine the ZU's and the Terrafirmas' are similar in price. If so what swayed your call in the end.
I managed to get them on special for less than half the price of ZU's here in OZ. Unfortunately they've gone back up to full price again now. I think they suit my old County much better than the ZU's which seem to suit the Puma better.

If they hadn't been on special I would have gone for some white steelies.

I quite like the Mack 5 steelies but they are a bit much, especially the new version. Not sure how much the old ones crack but the new version is meant to eliminate this.
The terrafirma dakas' and the ones you have are also very nice. They have good load rating which is the right thing to do for a 130 I guess for legal reasons. The draw back to them is cost and little weight savings as the terrafirma rims weigh almost as much as the wolf rims.
Which I suppose that's why Zu's are popular, 9.5 kg and 1400kg load rating ticks boxes, but I don't like them that much.
Do you mind sharing where you got yours, I can be very patient if I have the right motivator.

    Thanks

No problem. I bought them from Sydney 4x4 Accessories. They currently have the Black Dakar wheels on special: Dakar Wheels - sydney4x4accessories

Yep, but unfortunately they have the same offset as the factory Boost wheels, so no extra track to be had (or extra clearance to springs, etc).

Look bloody nice though - and a good load rating to boot!

So does that mean with 255/85 on they will rub badly. My wolf rims have 0 offset and rub a little on the front radius arms. No where else though.

I doubt 'badly' would be the case, but I would guess they would potentially rub.

For context, my 265/75 Wrangler MT/R tyres rub on 33mm offset Boost rims (big side lugs though).

Having said that, Terrafirma misquote the offset of some of their other rims, so I'd be inclined to double check the offset before buying (should be stamped ET33 on the inside of the rim).

    Nice looking county the_preacher1973!

Have the larger tyres affected the power much? I also have a V8 county on 31 inch tyres, and I have always wondered if the little 3.5L V8 would have enough power to turn 33's easily.

    Thanks,

    Edward

No problems with power that I can tell. On the highway it cruises just above peak torque and pulls strongly in top from 90 to whatever you would like to risk your licence with.

I took it out on the weekend and did Duck Creek Rd. up to O'Reilly's. The road is fairly washed out out the moment (but still fairly easy) and the car climbed all the rough steep sections in high range just above tickover. Considering I've still got a 3:1 low range reduction to use if need arrives I can't see the engine giving up before me or swmbo!
