    Over boost 300tdi

    Hi all
I have fitted a new intercooler and hoses to my 300tdi defender ImageUploadedByTapatalk1344916784.187910.jpg

And now my boost has gone Fromm max of 16 psi at the intake too 19psi under power in 4th and 21psi under heavy load in 5th ( boost climbs really slow and stops at 21)

Any ideas on why ( wastgate problem)
    Cheers wmd

    Cooler thus denser air, perhaps.

Simply, lesser restriction, more flow presenting more boost at the inlet.

    agreed on the nice!
pm with details too if you dont mind!

And to answer your point - pressure temperature and volume are tied together
P=VT or there abouts - a dynamic system like induction is tricky ish BUT
Once you change one the others have to change

    Thanks for the info
So I should adjust the wastgate to set it back to 16 psi to be safe .
