Mainshaft, fifth gear, third gear and complete rebuild kit and other bits. Before fitting the solid flywheel the gearbox plug magnet only ever had a slight paste on it. After fitting the solid flywheel the magnet started to increasingly collect metal until the gearbox failed. You can't argue with physics.....noise is vibration, vibration causes heat and excessive heat causes wear.
I will keep fitting standard flywheels at 100000 k over rebuilding gearboxes at 160000.............................no I won't, I will have an auto coming from Ashcrofts in a couple of weeks.
