    Post 2007 Deafener Trailer circuit

    Hi Guys

When fitting tow bar went looking for supposed "trailer circuit" plug. Circuit diagram assured me there was such a circuit. Never did find it the plug (or terminations); and had to wire in HR's little black box. Was peering under driver's seat to look to make more room and had the fuse box lid off. "Lo" the "trailer" fuse to remind me that there is supposed to be a trailer circuit.

Anyone know where the plug or terminations are located?

    Cheers

Mine is on drivers side just behind the tail or rear fog lamp up behind a plastic shield next to the fuel filler hose , its a grey plug .

Well that on a SVX anyway .

Dockstrada has it right. Here's a photo but it might be a bit hard to work out. Maybe print it off and look behind the drivers side rear wheel with the picture in one hand. You can sort of see the black plastic "plate" that I have bent round out of the way a little to get access to the plug.

This is what the plug looks like that you're looking for, except you'll find it clipped up on the rear panel. You can see the "rose" that inserts into a hole in the panel to locate it. It fits in quite high.

Good luck. I used a cable bought from someone on here. I believe it came with a Disco - maybe from the UK where they're standard?
