    Haven't seen the TF versions up close but they sell for $687.50 (TF810) for the sliders with the pipe step, Mulgo's are very heavy duty and nicely made, sell $675.

    That's good positive feed back. I take it the price difference was not a issue.

    The tf18 are $450 not sure how these differer from the other tfs

    Mounting of Mulgo sliders is significantly different to the Terrafirma ones. Different brackets and only standard mounting holes, we also don't use that bulkhead bolt to fit our sliders.
    Our sliders are manufactured locally to our specifications. Finish is zinc plated with satin black powder coating.
    As far as we know our sliders are the only ones on the market with zinc plating as a rust prevention.

    Re pricing, products made in Australia can rarely compete with UK made, often UK is cheaper. We strife to supply better products and better customer service at a fair and reasonable price.

    Terrafirma also clearly states that theirs are not suitable to use for jacking up the vehicle... (regardless of the fact that you wouldn't normally) but if it it can't support the weight how can it offer any protection?

    The Mulgo ones actually do offer protection and I'm super happy with my set!

    Sounds like there very good. Interesting comments about the tf ones. Thought every one raved about tf stuff, seems not.

    A lot of the imported products from the UK are great products and well made, but, in my opinion, some of them are just not made quite strong enough to cope with Australian conditions. Australian made products are made with harsh conditions in mind.

    I have to agree with you there Murray, the Exmoor Trim stuff is not suited to our conditions.... I could go on.....

    I also heard TF is manufactured in China. I could be wrong but I personally try and support locals if they have the product I want.
