    My ideal mod =

    - convert engine bay into storage area
    - add 4 submersible electric hub motors on each wheel

I think the best mod, and the cheapest, are the seat rail extensions from Mulgo. I think the next thing is definitely long range tanks in my D90. I spend a lot of time at the moment looking for a Shell or BP in every town, as these are the fuel cards I have.

FWIW just raising the standard seat runners by approx 20-22mm (using spacers and longer bolts) enables the seat to clear the rear edge of the bulkhead and give more than enough travel for those of us stupidly long of leg.

Cheapest mod that's used every time I go offroad:
    - Cutting out the side of the drivers seatbox to allow access to store air hose and jumper leads etc.
    - Closely followed in second place by a small block of wood that I jam in the accelerator pedal to give a 1500 RPM raised idle for better flow from my endless air setup.

Mod which I would most like to do if I had the spare cash:
    - Lift up (gull-wing) rear windows
