Thread: rust on new engine

Had mine back in the service department today for that reason and the fact they wired up the trailer plug wrong on the towbar.

The response was it is all normal and that is the way Land Rover finishes them, they used to spray the whole underbody with wax previously but not anymore. Basically accept it was the notion. He did say they sprayed something on there for me, cant remember what and was too busy/lazy to lift the bonnet to see the results.
