Mmmmmm just got 443klm out of 66 Litres my calculations that's about 14.8 L p/100klm

What happened to the 10.5, 9.9. 11's etc that everyone claims.

Shock Horror, it's worse than the Hilux.

Is this because its new? Needs to be run in? Maybe. Any thoughts?

I'm a little worried I wanted to fit the 45L rear quarter which is by my calculations now only going to give me an extra aprox 250klm. Far short of the 1,000klm range in total I was hoping for.

Some reassurance would be nice. But don't lie.

Must admit my TD5 did 14.5 on my last trip to Broome although it was running at 110 Kmh into a head wind.
On my return I got 11.5 better but I don't seem to get what others say they get.
I was talking to Nugget the other day and I am pretty sure his Puma was getting over 14
Will leave it to him to give exact figures I find that if you drive my the EGT it helps a lot

My first tank I only got 500km out of it on the high way, I now have 6700km lol and I am getting 650 per tank.. Filled to the brim and driving with fuel light on for a bit, I don't think empty is actually quite empty

    Hope this helps.

I will be throwing a jerry can in and driving until it coughs to find out how for one tank will actually go

no, no you're not. (well not unless you particualarly feel like killing a perfectly good HP pump, and some injectors) Drive it till the warning light comes on and consider that empty

Dont refuel from metal jerries use plastic ones and not blue or white ones.
(ok if you can afford them you can refuel from stainless steel jerries)
