FWIW, when I installed my Ex-Box I found I had to run a dedicated earth. Earthing through the screws attaching the Ex-Box to the body was unreliable.
Recently after initial start in the mornings one of the yellow relays (previously under the driver seat, now in an Exbox) starts clicking like mad. Its the A/C relay and it stops if either the A/C is switched on or the brake pedal is pressed. After it's initial p*ss about its OK unless I again leave it switched off for a fair few hours. Any ideas? checked the connections but can't think why the brake pedal affects the A/C relay unless it's an earth issue with moving the electrics???

No matter what the problem - there's a solution. You've just got to find it.

2003 Defender 110 - The Yellow Peril (Gone but remembered fondly)

Thanks, was the way I was thinking after seeing so many separate earth points under the drivers seat. Will run a cable straight to the battery from the earths in the Exbox.
