Yeah - won't really work with the LR Puma 'cos the engine management light will come on. Folks tried these on the Puma Defy a few years back, drilling different sized holes in them etc to try to get the EML to not come on, but then, you're still basically using the EGR......Get a Alive/Bruce Davis/BAS or similar flash remap and your EGR issues are gone forever. It completely disables it without the Engine management light coming on...
It's all very well for your add to tell you straight up that the light will come on, but what if it would have come on anyway for another issue? You wouldn't know. And I mean - reprogramming the ECU! That's what getting a flash is.
The flash upgrade from BAS/Alive etc is about $800.00 but not only do you get the EGR taken out of the equation, you get better torque and power and, ironically, substantially better fuel economy.
