ARB bar on Xtech or SVX?

    Hi everyone.

Thinking of buying an Xtech 110.
I will be driving in the country at night so want to protect against animal strikes.

Anybody know if an ARB delux bar will clear the different grill and headlight surrounds on the Xtech/ SVX? ANybody know anybody in WA that could modify it tomake it work?

    Thanks,

    James

    Hi James,

I just got a Limited Edition 110 and have been looking for a bar. The X-Rox bar will fit, if you like that style. Otherwise Steve at Lifestyle 4WD can modify an old ARB design to fit. He is looking for one for me at the moment.

I had the old bar modified to fit my old S.V.X. by ARB in Midland.

I converted mine from my td5 to the puma myself, you will need to extend the brackets by 55mm to clear the extended grill.

I've got one and didnt even know the front was any different except for colour. so live and learn.

Probably no help either but as stated above, wasnt an issue with the xrox.

Old style ARB will fit straight on, but the bottom support pipe will interfere with the driving lights. This makes it illegal, so this bar needs to be removed.

This is a simple job that can be done at home with a grinder. Then a bit of bog, powder coat in a can and your done.

The new style ARB bar just will not fit, as it sits to close, if you fabricate new bracket to move it out or cut away the offending parts it will virtually cover the driving lights. Again making it illegal.

Have a look here, IMO nicer than a ARB bar and he can make sure it will fit properly
