Thread: Full diff, gearbox, transfer fluids....

Hi all,

I'm about to replace all my diff (rover, not sal), LT77 and transfer oils in my 87 defender. What are the recommendations for all of them? It is an old car, approximately 240k, that's what the speedo says anyway.

I have read that Castrol Syntrans is the go for the LT77 and not what is recommended by the Haynes service book. So type grade and weight for all would be appreciated.
