If it would help you with the fitting etc I have a D34 case, so no weight etc. Call or pm if you want to borrow the case.
Has anyone tried to fit 3 D34 Optimas into their County battery bay? Measurement seems to fit, but I'd like to be sure before sinking the money on an extra one...

I have 2 optima blue tops + the standard battery in my Puma so they certainly fit in the later model

Ah ha!
I see Mike has already found my pic.
The red-top is the main SLI with everything else hanging off the pair of yellows (wired in parallel). I've got one of those solid-state split chargers between the red & yellows.
FWIW - Now that I've tried them, I wouldn't bother with any of those fancy batteries again. Just stick to the regular lead-acid types.

Thanks everyone. 3 fit, however with the early 110's the battery box is a slightly different shape, you have to have the 2 side by side at the front and the single at the back, otherwise the terminal posts stick up too far and would short against the cover.
Special thanks to Michael for his ghost batteries - They make it so much easier.

If you want all the details, do a search back to Jun/Jul '05... Essentially the pair of yellows I had in that photo died when they were only a couple of months old and I had absolutely no support from Optima. They didn't want to know.
So I fitted a pair of Oddesseys...
Frankly, I never found any benefit and have found the Lead-acid to be far more reliable.
