Sounds the like the angle grinder is getting warmed up.
Hi all
I have been running jt2 34x11.5 on neg25 rims ,these tires measure 35 inch.
I have after market flares and only got a bit of rubbing on the inner guard with the standard shocks .
I have installed a set of koni heavy track raid, stock replacement and now have some real bad rubbing on the inner guard . Even the 33s now rub a fraction.
Any body have experience on tubbing the inner guard ??? Or after market ones .
i don't wont to put in extended bump stops or limiting straps if I can help it.
Cheers WMD

hi mate, a good friend of mine has a p38 .LRO uk mag have just done an article on his truck , Jan 2013 . anyway he had the same problem you have . how he got over it was to fit wheel spacers , that he got from the uk. Idon't know if they meet aus ADIs , what i can say is they work for him .regards jimr1 ...

The utes rather legal until I put the 35s on .
The wheel spacers are not ADR approved and would put the wheels out side the flares .
But I wonder if they would help??
Maybe get some 30mm coil spacers to bring it back up higher a bit
There is a lot of information missing from this equation
Are we talking front or rear?
Where exactly is is rubbing ,and when?
You say the raids are a direct replacement for the standard L/R shocks, what is the difference in the open and closed lengths?
Without at least this minimalist information,I fail to see how anyone could offer any meaningful advice

30mm spacers will only lift the ride hight . It's rubbing when it's on the bump stops.
It's a tray back so it only rubs on the front .
The raids were sold as a stock replacement and I only checked for the closed length befor installing them as bottoming out is what damages shocks.
They must have a bit more extended length to let one wheel drop more and the opposite wheel tuck in the guard on a steeper angle and hit the inner guard .
Ps Lone Ranger
The help needed is about the tire rubbing on the inner guard at full flex,
And can it be chopped or replaced , personal experiences with this mod ect.
I see you run 35s what's your set up ??
Cheers WMD
you can buy the terrafirma extended bumpstops to reduce up travel, adding ride height will stop rubbing, most run 35's with a 2 inch lift, but if your trying to keep it standard try the extended bumpstops, what offset rim are you running
