HI Jeff , if your on level ground , and it's full to the level hole thats it . For piece of mined drive for a little while , then re check , thats about all you can do ... good luck .. jimr1 ..

Thanks Jimr1, I'll give that a go, though at the moment it's not registered so I can only drive it in 50 m back then 50 m forward. In a couple of days I should be able to do laps of my block, but I have to wait for it to dry out, we've had a bit of rain out here in the last couple of days.

Hi Jeff , Once again Queensland is copping it , more rain than it wants . Vic got bush fires , we don't need or want . So to all you Queenslanders , hang in there , our thoughts are with you's ....jimr1 ...

If you used the plug on the drivers side then that is the correct plug.It should take 2.67L,you may find that when the rebuilt the transmission that the used a bit of oil,and it has gathered in the bottom of the box and accounts for the extra oil that you expected to put in.I would turn the truck around and check it again,as the ground may slope slightly to one side,if you want to be pedantic,run a spirit level across the bumper or similar and check the vehicle is level,sagging springs can also make the vehicle sit at an angle and change the oil level at the plug slightly.

We're OK here, we only had about 120 mm of rain and only some minor flooding in town, unlike the In-laws there up at Childers near Bundy and they had over 300 mm.

Once it dries out up here I'll do a few laps of my block and I'll re check it, although seeing what rgty-kmj posted it might be right.

Thanks Kerry, the info i got was from the Castrol supplier , so their info might be wrong , I guess its one way of getting you to buy more oil.
