    Question Access to horn

    Hi all

    I think my horn has decided to give up the ghost.
    It is sounding a little flat and not very loud from inside the cockpit.

    Question is how the hell do you get to it?
    Do you need to take the left quarter panel off or is there an easier way to get to it?

    Hi Mick,

    Go in through the headlight hole.

    If your place is anything like mine I would guess there are wasp eggs in it

    Mine can be accessed thru the headlight surround.maybe yours is different?

    Now why didn't I think of that?
    Question?
    How do you remove the headlight?
    Does it just screw off?

    I reckon I'll replace my horn with an airhorn

    The horn on my series 3 gave up the ghost the other day...turned out it was a fuse problem...not blown but just a poor connection!

    Hi nuggie , take the side light and indicator out then the plastic suround , that will give you access to the headlight . Then the four screws on the headlight and it will pop out . You then have access to the horn . The horn wires will be the wires for the air horns ...cheers jimr1...

    Thanks for your help guys.
    I'll change the fuse, and if no joy, I'll pick up an air horn on flee bay & do the swap.

    Dunno about yours but mine is in front of the radiator, just take off the grill and there it is.

    Up the Horn

    Hi nuggie , The horn on my 110 sounds like the horn on a noddy car . I've got an old horn off my old p38 that I was going to swop , that was a few years ago . Ah well i'll get aroud to it one day ..cheers jimr1
