Rear door locking
Hi people,
I have a 2011 Defender 110 wagon. In recent days the rear door has ceased to unlock with the remote and requires unlocking with the key. All doors lock with the remote as normal. Any ideas. Still under warranty.
Thanks,
Iglooist.

Happened to mine mate, 2010 model. Just rip the door trim off, pull it apart and lube it up and good to go again.

Mine as well, 2007 110. I found the thumb lever for the inside was catching on the door skin. Skimmed a bit off the plastic door skin, lubed the mechinism and haven't had a prob since.

Thanks Peters1, and sorry IGL002 for the thread hijack, but I have been using duct tape for years for that problem.

Re: Rear door locking
Hi,
Had the same problem. Took it to the dealers which cleaned and checked locking mechanism. Worked for a couple days then same thing. They then replaced whole mechanism and haven't had a issue since. This is a MY12
