Thread: A frame winch bar on new 110 question

After some research on winch bars I thought I would go for ARB but that ruins the look of the defender so I decided to go with the LR A frame bar with winch. Normally LR fit it with the warn 9.5ti but I think the 9.5xp is a better winch. I will be getting this done by a LR specialist in Melbourne.
Question is did anyone fit this combo and are any special mods required.

You also need to consider how you may fit driving lights, if that is your intention. They are normally hung upside down under the A-bar. These are steel rather than the original plastic and can be used to mount a UHF aerial and/or a sand-flag.

I was considering gettingn Ritter in Melbourne to source the bar and I will source the winch. With regards to warrantee, LR charge $4600 for the 9.5ti and installation on top of that. I can buy the 9.5ti with plasma rope $2200 or the XP with plasma $1950. I suppose that is why LR charge so much.
