As Alan said, I have never seen the DPF light come either, only on igintion on. I love my truck and except for the turbo hose coming loose and the hose clamp rubbing on the hose next to it, it's been great. The way I look at it, "**** Happens" and as my neighbour has a new VW Jetta and has been back 3 times for a dodgey alternator only returning 9v to the battery(took them that long to agree to replace it) I dont think it matters what brand of car it is, they all play up occasionally, with the level of technology in them these days it's inevitable. Just do it, you know you want to!
