Thread: Whistle whine noise on puma

Fully loaded down to Albany this weekend and the whistle is back. Sixth gear, 2000 revs, let off gas and you get a whistle, started to think it is speed related as doesn't do it at slower speeds? Still going fine, heaps power, all a bit odd really, not a peep from it when Im just running around the metro?!?'

Back into garage for two days and still no fix.........,why can it be that hard to diagnose????

Found the thread, how long do you think it would/could squeal for, before it went pop!!!????

Turbo gasket it the culprit - turbo off soon, will re-fit with thick copper style gasket. I will update - stealer could not diagnose, spent good money

How high pitched a noise are we talking here? Asking because I have a very high pitched (almost radio interference style sound) happening at the moment...

Difficult to describe, squeaky whistle, take off turbo heat shield, if its leaking there will bee soot. Copper gasket from Germany fixes it allegedly!!!!!!! Hope so
