I am not sure what you are asking?

Do you want to fit Disco 24-spline halfshafts (axle shafts) into a salisbury housing?

If that is your question then the short answer is NO.

    The long answer is:
The halfshafts are a different length
They have a different pressure angle (but could be presssed in)
OE 24 spline disco shafts are weak.

If you are wanting to fit a diff centre from a "Disco" (Rover type) into a Salisbury housing, then NO it won't fit.
If you are want to fit the whole rear diff housing from a "Disco" in a Defender in place of a Salisbury, then yes it can be done, but you will need to replace the rear drive shaft, and to do it properly, you will need to move the rear lower spring mounts out approx. 10mm .Depending on which brake setup you are going to use, then you may have to alter the mounting holes in the calipers if you use "Disco" calipers.

Not the axles ,the whole diff centre .I got the axles and hd flanges all HTE . So which year 110 i should be looking for ? I have a couple of grand sitting in each diff centre with the lockers and ashcoft c&p , im reluctant to let them go .

Do you mean rear or front?

There was never a rover type diff in the rear of any 110. Only sals and p38 type. The rover diff center will not bolt in to either of these.

A lot of the guessing could be avoided with a little clearer communication.....

Assuming you have a locked disco and unlocked 110???

The front axle internals would swap over - best to keep the defender brakes on the defender.

On the rear, you could fit the entire axle (disc-disc) in the defender, however yoou would end up with a MUCH weaker centre.

Unless you buy a 90, there is no defender that will accept the rear axles and diff centre from your disco.
