    Hey Guys,

Is there any solutions to getting the drivers seat to recline all the way back in my 2.2 Puma. Without suggesting replacing the seat.

I miss putting my seat all the way back and having a nap.

    Hi Guys,

There must be someone out there that has attempted to rectify this issue. Is there not?

Am I the only one that finds the seat not reclining all the way back annoying?

I appreciate any feedback, thanks Guys.

    Regards,

    Babs.

Sadly, if it's the same as a 300Tdi Deafener, that's your lot.
It won't go all the way back.

Hi Babs , after I read your question , I went and had a look at mine it's just a standard Defender seat . I looked at my leaver it's like a notched snail cam there is room on the cam to go futher back , but it hits a top pin . Now it looks as though if the cam were cut back it would allow the seat to recline futher back . Like you I woud like to hear if any one has done this or if it will even work jimr1

If you did modify it make sure you can turn it on and off... Would be unfortunate to have it happen if you adjusted the seat while driving. I had this happen to me when the spring broke (not in a deefer) and the seat back disappeared behind me out of reach.

    Afraid I can't help.

Driving a single cab I've never struggled with that particular issue .

    Cheers

I have toyed with notching the section the pin hits with a die grinder to get more decline on some early seats, this works but i have yet to try it on my puma seats but they are exactly the same so it should work fine, i just dont know how legal it would be considered.

I very much doubt that it would be legal, but the probability of it ever being detected would be pretty slim.
