			Puma - Need help in disconnecting fuel lines from filter head

					Hello,

 I need to check the fuel lines because I suspect they are clogged due to dirty fuel.

 I easily disconnected the small fuel return tubes by pressing the two blue mark and sliding it.
 But I'm unable to disconnect the larger fuel lines. There is no way to detach it from the filter head by pressing the single blue mark. How to disconnect it ?

 Any help will be greatly appreciated!

					If they are the fitting I think they are then there is a special tool for removing them. BUT if that is the case then I have done it without the tool a few times... takes a lot of and some time. and some time.

					ford use a similar looking gadget.... should have said i did ford ones... oooppss... but I just used a screw driver to release the little blue catch thing and then just gently leaver the hose off. At least you can get at the fuel filter on a Defer! try googleing where they put the fuel filter on a ford focus! Now THAT's a pain!

					Hey Mario, you need to get the relevant tool to remove those hoses safely. You can remove them with a screwdriver but risk damaging the connection which can lead to air in the system. You can get the release tools on ebay for about £20 delivered in the UK, and comes as a set. Here are a few examples;

 Laser Air con & Fuel disconection tool set. 4pc. 4387 | eBay

 Air Conditioning/Fuel line Disconnect Tool Set. | eBay

 OTC 6517 Fuel & Aircon Disconnect Set | eBay

					Thanks all for the help attempt and thanks to Brian for the tools suggestion.
 I will take a look if I can find it locally, otherwise I will buy it on eBay.
